This tasty mix is filled with the greens we love ( or try to :) ) and packs a few surprises that provide a mean little kick!

What You’ll Need

  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 2 1/2 cups raw  kale
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 cups of carrots
  • 1/3 small peeled lemon  ( note: too much of this can turn the mean green blend into a pucker punch!)
  • ginger ( use at your discretion as this is a major component of the ‘kick’)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder ( again, use at your discretion as this is another  major component of the ‘kick’)
  • 1 can  mango in mango juice (20 ounce can or use about 1 1/2 of a real mango)

What You’ll Do

  1.  Blend it all together! We’re a fan of the Ninja around here but if you prefer to go with no pulp you can use a juicer.
