Drink Up: Mean Green Blend
This tasty mix is filled with the greens we love ( or try to ) and packs a few surprises that provide a mean little kick!
What You’ll Need
- 1/3 cucumber
- 2 1/2 cups raw kale
- 2 cups spinach
- 2 cups of carrots
- 1/3 small peeled lemon ( note: too much of this can turn the mean green blend into a pucker punch!)
- ginger ( use at your discretion as this is a major component of the ‘kick’)
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder ( again, use at your discretion as this is another major component of the ‘kick’)
- 1 can mango in mango juice (20 ounce can or use about 1 1/2 of a real mango)
What You’ll Do
- Blend it all together! We’re a fan of the Ninja around here but if you prefer to go with no pulp you can use a juicer.
